I've read about World of Charity Stitching before on blogs. While I was interested, I was also nervous about it. Would my stitching be acceptable? Could I meet the deadline?
I don't really have a bucket list, but if I did certainly you'd find learning to quilt on my list. Right now, I don't have a sewing machine and my hands are kind of full so it remains a dream.
What's the next best thing? Of course, it's contributing a square to be placed in a quilt. So that's my exciting project. I had hoped to share a picture of my completed square, but the frogs came to visit me! It was so bad I had to start my square over!! But I had promised a post today so I wanted to at least let you in on my exciting project. I'll post a picture soon. I really am excited about it.
Hello
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog.
Your stitching is lovely!
Looking forward to seeing your charity square!
I started stitching for World of Charity Stitching two years ago. It feels so good to contribute to a quilt and see it finished with a square done by you. They also accept any type of cross stitch designs and sew them onto pillows or tote bags or walker bags and all kinds of things. I'm looking forward to seeing your square. I'm sorry you had to start over.
